When & Where is Tomatina Festival?
La Tomatina Festival is held in the town of Buñol, 42 km away from Valencia City, every last Wednesday of August

What time does the tomato fight starts?
The tomato fight starts at 12.00 noon.
When does the Tomatina end?
It ends at 01:00 p.m., when you hear the shot, stop throwing tomatoes.
Are there any lockers to store things?
Yes, there will be a locker service, for Boss or Sleepy packs, both have included a locker service at our Fuzone in Buñol, a place to leave your belongings, items like phones, wallets, and spare t-shirt, but items no bigger than 40x40cm.
If you do not have any of these two packs, no worries, you can purchase the locker service there for only 5€.
Is it possible to enter with a backpack and with bottles?
Backpacks are not allowed under any circumstances. Bottles and other hard objects are not allowed. There will be a locker service at our Funzone.
Are cameras allowed in the tomato fight?
The generic answer will be no, but you can enter with GO PROS but without the stick, and there is no problem to enter with your phone if you think you need it inside of that madness. But with big and professional cameras they won´t let you inside the tomatina street, where all the action happens. it´s not allowed, so what you decide to bring in is up to you.
What kind of clothes and shoes should I wear?
We recommend you wear our blue Festivals All Around T-shirt and after the tomato fight ends you will be able to shower in front of our Funzone and in 15 minutes your clothes should dry out. But you can always bring a spare t-shirt if you wish to change after the fight. And about the shoes, bring closed shoes. Not flip-flops or sandals, they will get lost!
Are minors allowed to enter?
The City Council of Bunol which organizes the tomato fight, La Tomatina presently does not put an age restriction on those who can participate in the tomato fight. However, you should note that the people in the tomato fight can get pretty carried away randomly throwing tomatoes in all directions. It can get pretty full on wherever you may be in the tomato fight. There are no real vantage points within the tomato fight where you can just stand back and take in what is going on as a spectator. You are either in, or not. Minors can also enjoy the Tomatina festival, the parents or legal guardians will *MUST* sign a consent form.

What time will we be back in Valencia?
At about 05:00 p.m. we should be back in Valencia depending on traffic. It´s the perfect time for a shower and SIESTA to recharge batteries before the Epic night of the Tomatina After Party ahead.
Is transportation from Valencia to Buñol and Back provided for the tour?
Yes, for Cherry & Boss Packs from our Meeting/Pick up point at Ivam Modern & Arts museum in central Valencia.
For Sleepy pack as well directly from the main gates of our accommodation at Galileo Galilei Residence.

When La Tomatina ends, what do I do? Where can I take a shower?
There are public hoses provided by the town hall just in front of our Funzone. Once you are clean, go back to our Funzone and get ready to recover energies with our famous homemade Valencian Paella (good for vegans and vegetarians) and down it with a cold beer or Sangria while dancing with your fellow tomatina warriors with our DJs.
Where and when is the Tomatina Official After Party?
The After Party will take place the same day as La Tomatina Festival in a nice terraze club near Valencia from 9.00 p.m. til late. click here for more info

What type of accommodation is provided during the tour and where is it?
Our accommodation, is a really nice residence (
Galileo Galilei ) with all twin shared rooms with only 2 people per room, with bathroom and shower at each room. It´s 15 minutes walking distance from the beach.
Are meals included in the tour package?
Cherry Pack
Includes one cold Sangria at our Funzone, but no meals are included, but you can purchase them at our Funzone.( Sandwich, donuts and Paella ( good for vegetarians and vegans )
Boss Premium
includes at our Funzone, 2 refreshing Sangrias and one plate of our Valencian homemade Paella ( good for vegetarians and vegans ) after the tomato fight is over.
Sleepy Pack
includes at our Funzone, 2 refreshing Sangrias and one plate of our Valencian homemade Paella ( good for vegetarians and vegans ) after the tomato fight is over.
And 2 breakfast at our accommodation.
Where & when do I pick up my welcome pack with everything I purchased
At our HQ in Radio city in central Valencia the day before la tomatina from 9am till 8pm. The sooner you come the better.
Are there showers?
You won´t find them easily in town, but hey there are big water pipes located exactly 10 meters from our Funzone, yuhuuu!

Are there any safety precautions or guidelines for participating in the tomato fight?
No more than, remember, you are going into a tomato fight with over another 20.000 thousand people, and the streets are crowded and super vibrant, look at the area you choose to put yourself into as the place will get super crowded.
In case of any injury, no worries, look for the medical authorities, they will be everywhere.
Are there any additional fees or taxes not included in the tour price?

Are there vegetarian or vegan meal options available during the tour?
Yes, Valencian homemade veggie Paella & homemade Spanish homellete Sandwiches.
Can I book extra nights with the sleepy package?

What is the itinerary of the tour?

IVAM Museum. Departure at approximately 7:30 am. Arrive promptly to mingle with over 800 attendees, but fret not, ample seating awaits everyone.

9:30 Welcome to our vibrant Funzone, where the festivities kick off with pulsating music, tantalizing refreshments, delectable cuisine, our renowned Batucada performance, and much more. It’s time to rev up the excitement as we gear up for the epic showdown ahead.
12:00 Brace yourself as La Tomatina ignites, inviting you to revel in the joyous chaos and relish the experience like a carefree child.
13:00 After the last tomato has been hurled, retreat to our headquarters to recharge and keep the adventure going with our DJ and rejuvenate before embarking on the next leg of our journey.
16:00 All aboard! Buses depart for Valencia, signaling the end of this extraordinary festivity.

Is travel insurance recommended for the tour?
Yes, of course it is. We encourage all passengers to have adequate travel insurance on all of our tours – the possibilities for injury or loss are considerable and medical costs can be extremely expensive when you are far from home. Remember the old saying; If you can’t afford travel insurance, you can’t afford to travel!
What should I pack for La Tomatina?
Trust us when we say this, you only need a few things, take note:
Put all your wristbands, put them on as soon as you have them.
Only bring a bank card if you want to use it, you can pay with card in our Funzone or bring cash, 100€ will be more than enough.
If you want a spare t-shirt to change if you want after the fight ends.
Closed shoes.
Sport pants if you can, and if you are a girl, a sports Bra under our Festivals all around Tomatina will be super handy.
If you think is necessary bring your phone, but take care as it is pretty easy to lose it in the middle of the tomato fight.
Really YOU DO NOT NEED MUCH MORE THAN THAT.
Is there a dress code for the festival?
Not really, but as we said before;

Are there any optional activities or excursions included in the tour??
Yes, the Tomatina After Party that happens at night. You will have to make your way there, trust us, it´s worth 100%. We got you a deal! With all our packs you can access the party any time all night. See you there!
What language(s) are spoken by the tour guides?
We will communicate in English with everyone.
Can someone else pick up my welcome pack with my entry ticket?
Yes, they will have to show our crew the confirmation email and full name, easy!

- For Packs *CHERRY and BOSS* you must pick up your welcome pack with everything included on Tuesday 27th August at our HQ in Central Valencia from 9 am to 8 pm at Radio City Valencia.
- Be at the pick-up point at 6:30 am with the rest of the festivalgoers, once all buses are loaded we take off for Buñol!
- Departure time 7:30 am approx.
- For Tomatina day, the meeting and drop-off point are at Ivam Museum in central Valencia.
- Bus back from Buñol at 4 pm, arriving back in Valencia 5 pm approx.
- Do not Miss The Official Tomatina After Party at night in Valencia, you have the entry ticket included with all our packs.
- Buñol is about 43kms away from Valencia, it will take about 1 hour bus ride, time to chill before the madness begins.
- Wear old clothes or clothes you aren’t planning on wearing again or maybe our super cool Festivals all around t-shirt , as it will dry very quick after the tomato fight.
- If you are planning on taking pictures a waterproof camera is a must or a Waterproof bag can be purchased at our headquarters.
- Buses will return from the festival at 4 pm! IF YOU MISS THE BUS WILL HAVE TO FIND YOUR OWN WAY BACK!
